I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Mathias son of the father who created Airfree. Here is the story behind Airfree that Daniel shared with me:
His father in an effort to find an effective way to ease his son’s allergy attacks. The businessman scoured the market trying to find an air purifier that would help his son’s respiratory issues but found nothing that suited their needs. He then began to develop Airfree. The first prototype Airfree air purifier was developed for a natural way of using heat to destroy airborne allergens.
In 2004, after a few adjustments had been made to improve electronics and capacity, Airfree was born, marked by the launch of its P air purifier range, attractive and modern in design. A groundbreaking brand was on its way to winning over world markets.
The benefits of Airfree air purifiers are effective against bacteria, viruses, mildew, mold, dust mite allergens, pet allergens, pollen, and tobacco odors. SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, and dozens of other international laboratories have proved the effectiveness of Airfree air purifiers at reducing the amount of microorganisms and harmful substances from the air. With no fans or turbines, a good night’s sleep is guaranteed.
Only Airfree combines high efficiency with an award-winning design that beautifully complements the appearance of your home. Airfree air purifiers do not require any maintenance or replacement parts and generates no waste. There is no need to change filters or moving parts. It uses less energy than a 60w light bulb, is easy to transport, weighs less than 5 lb, and takes up very little space.
Airfree’s exclusive technology works by eliminating microorganisms and allergens, destroying them in a fraction of a second. Depending on the model, between 4,000 and 6,000 gallons of air pass through the Airfree device every hour, treating all the air in the room in a very short space of time.
The process works in much the same way as sterilizing water by boiling it; when water is boiled, the microorganisms it contains are eliminated. In similar fashion, Airfree continually draws in air, heating it to over 390ºF and instantly sterilizing it. The purified air is then cooled inside the device before being returned to the room.
Then I had the pleasure to share that my child has allergies and the winters have been hard on her. I also am allergic to things in the air as dust. So one day I received Airfree Onix in the mail with a letter saying try me and let me know how it works for your family.
I have had Airfree Onix plugged in for about 3 weeks now. I decided to put Airfree upstairs where we all sleep. Is about 400sqft. The Airfree Onix says it covers 450sqft, I would say that’s accurate. So we decided it be best used in my daughters room who is 7 years old. My daughter has allergies and possible asthma. Winters have been rough on her lungs. Night sometimes she would be very restless. My daughter has slept quitter at night. Woken up rested and not with buggers in her nose as often. Daddio is what my daughter calls me, I feel the air is cleaner and my lungs can breathe. My daughter has also fell in love with the night light feature. She turns it on before bed and now has asked for it to go off before we go to bed. We have used the light to tell stories at night also before bed.
I have also noticed a difference sleeping at night myself. I wake up rested and ready for the day. I also feel it’s lowed the amount of dust in the air. Some mornings I would wake up sneezing just from the air. Now with Airfree upstairs that has happened less frequently. I also love the quietness of Airfree. It doesn’t make a noise or peep. The outside of Airfree does get a little warm yet nothing that will burn someone. No filters to change, no loud fan running, no water to add. I must say I have simply become a fan and supporter of Airfree. The astonishing power it packs for getting rid of substance in the air for being so small and quite at the same time. You just can’t beat it
