People think of others (more so than normal) and are charitable, holiday music is plentiful, people take time to send cards to update you on the busy lives of their families, I get to have my Christmas Tree (I’d leave it up all year if there was no protest…) and the Children’s Holiday pageants. SO much COOL and FUN stuff! Can you see why I absolutely LOVE this time of year? (Besides the obvious celebration of God’s greatest gift to us…)
Last year, our December Daily series was such a hit, we are doing it again this year! Different ideas (except for a select few) so you might want to check out LAST year’s list HERE. I have been putting the finishing touch on my December Daily 2012 for y’all.
What IS December Daily?
In the world of scrapbookers – that means making an album with a page for each day. You make it BEFORE December so you can easily journal each day and add pictures or mementos of that day.
I have a little twist on this…I have a holiday idea for you each day. Some days it will be a simple recipe, other days a reminder of a fun activity. Stuff to do with kiddos, stuff to do for others, even simple crafts, all designed to help put you or keep you in the holiday spirit and be frugal.
Starting December 1st, you will see a December Daily post – every day at 8AM. I hope you and your family get an idea or two to help make your own holiday a little sweeter.
This is the third part in our series: October was our Christmas Craft Countdown, full of ideas to make for gifts and November was Cookie-palooza with 30 different great holiday cookie recipes! If you missed those posts, you can see them HERE.
