This pavilion is a beautiful place to start your adventure through the World Showcase. As with all of the other pavilions, you will get to meet the culture of a country in a very short time. Top 5 Things to do in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion
San Angel Inn
You are going to love this restaurant. A lot of people say that dining here is their favorite experience on Disney property. You will enjoy drinking margaritas, looking for the Mickey in the volcano smoke, and watching boats floating by. You are also going to love the Lomo de Puerco en pipian and the carne asada. You will see how fast this place will become your favorite part of the Mexico pavilion and it’s definitely something you don’t want to miss if you’re visiting with family.
This place is mostly all indoors, and that’s what it makes it stand out from all the other things in this pavilion. There is a sit down restaurant and a counter service restaurant outside the pyramid. Also, make sure you don’t miss Donald Duck meet and greet spot that’s placed here if you’re with kids. Or if you’re alone and love Donald Duck. The constant nighttime feel and look inside adds a whole level of immersion to this pavilion.
Kidcot Fun Stop Location
Visiting any of pavilions with kids can’t be done without visiting the Kidcot Fun Stop. You’ll find one in the Mexico pavilion if you go to one of the entrances to the pyramid and you will see it in the center of the lobby.
Gran Fiesta Tour
This is a simple boat ride. There are no loud noises, no shocks, and no drops. There are no villains that will scare your kids and nothing can go wrong. However, it’s an Epcot classic. It offers a lot of beautiful scenery.
Donald Duck was introduced to this attraction with his two bird friends a couple of years ago. Even better, they aren’t animated characters, they are full-blown animatronics. You won’t have to wait in the queue to get in here, so make sure you don’t miss it.
La Cava del Tequila
Tequila is a very trendy drink in Mexico, as we all know. However, you will experience a lot more than licking the salt, taking the shot, and sucking the lemon at this place. You will get to taste some guacamole and chips, dance salsa, and try some very good drinks. Don’t miss awesome margaritas like passion fruit, blood orange, hibiscus, and cucumber. Do you want to try a good tequila? There are 70 different types of it at this place, so take a shot! It’s always time for a little tequila in the Mexico pavilion as it is always nighttime!
