Banana, Blueberry, and Strawberry Smoothie
Chia seeds are one of the new “super foods” that you are hearing more and more about — it’s like flax seeds multiplied! This is a great treat for the family, that you can feel comfortable spoiling them with… a guilt free summer treat!
1 ripe small Banana
1/2 C Blueberries
1/2 C Strawberries
1 TBSP Agave
2 tsp Chia seeds
1 C Almond Milk
2 C Ice
-Peel and slice the banana.
-Wash blueberries and strawberries. Remove the stem of the strawberry and cut into quarters.
-Put the banana slices, blueberries and quartered strawberries in the blender.
-Add the Agave and Chia seeds to the blender.|
-Pour in the Almond milk.
-Pulse until all of the ingredients as blended.
-Pour into a glass and then rip into it like a monkey on a cupcake!
