Each of the Judy Moody books features a different adventure or mystery that Judy needs figure out. This includes real life adventures such as developing math skills with a tutor or trying to find a missing pet. Your daughter will love listening to you read about Judy’s adventures and eventually, she’ll love reading these stories on her own.

Your daughter will love stepping into this colorful book series. Each book in this series features a different color fairy, from Ruby the Red Fairy to Heather the Violet Fairy. In each story, the main characters, Rachel and Kirsty, must find the fairy and bring them back to Fairyland. After reading the series to your daughter, you can extend the fun online with many different games and activities that go along with the fairies.
Junie B. Jones
Junie B. Jones has to be one of the most loveable characters for young girls. This personable character will make your little girl laugh as Junie bungles through her many adventures. Barbara Park, the author of this wonderful series, does a great job of writing about real life dilemmas that girls can face as they grow up. One of the great things about this chapter book series is that you don’t need to read them in any particular order. You can select any book that sparks your daughter’s interest or that she can relate to at the time.
Beverly Clearly definitely wrote a book series that is a timeless favorite for many girls. Ramona is the little sister of character introduced in a different series by the same author. After the last book in that series, Ramona became a main character in her own series. Each book shares a real life problem that Ramona needs to face, oftentimes a problem that many girls can relate to.
