I shared this picture on my Facebook page and people went nuts for it! It was just a simple stir fry that we need for dinner, that my mom has been making for years. This can be made from scratch, but sometimes I cheat a little bit with a packet of seasoning. This was a cheat night, but you get the same effect when you throw together a little soy sauce, powdered ginger, powdered garlic, and brown sugar.

meal plan month one

First, you dice your chicken into bite size pieces, in the same with whatever vegetables you plan to use. Pop that chicken into your pan with a little bit of olive oil and cook it up. Remove it from the pan and now cook your veggies until they are almost the texture you want them. Some people like them really crunchy, I like them where they’re just starting to get soft. This is where I grabbed a packet of this:

I simply follow the directions on the back. It says to add water, soy sauce, and a little sugar.

Add the meat back to your pan of vegetables, and then add the sauce. Toss everything to coat it with the sauce and let it simmer a minute or two more. Remove it from the heat, serve over rice, and rip into it like a monkey on a cupcake. That’s it. Stir Fry is super easy to make, impressive with the colors, and beyond tasty.
