Today means there are 80 days days until we get the big visit from St Nicholas. Now, don’t panic! To try and help you, we have put together a list of great stuff to help you count down to the big event.
- There will be 31 different crafts that you still have time to make, for gifts, in October.
- There will be 30 different cookie recipes, that you can gather ingredients to bake, off in November.
- There will be 24 different things you can add to your family holiday traditions in December – to help keep the Christ in Christmas.
Let’s get started with those crafts!
Again, I found this gem on Pinterest — SUPER cute idea from Stuff by Ash – a Ribbon Tree shirt!
What do you need?
Ribbon (if you are any kind of a crafter, you probably have enough already), your “Stitch Witchery” or “Steam-a-Seam” paper and a pair of scissors. You could do a running stitch, by hand, on the ribbon to ruffle it, but you might want to use your sewing machine to speed things up. Oh yeah… and a shirt. That makes this another pretty inexpensive project!
You can see her step-by-step tutorial HERE — I am making this gem at my November Crop for Miss Sarah too – with a matching hair bow.
This would be ADORABLE if you had multiple girls — make them each one of their own and it would make for an uber cute holiday photo!
