Do you have expired coupons?
Do NOT throw them out — you can still put them to good use!!
Our military families give up so much for us, that there is one simple thing we can do to give back to them: send them our expired coupons!
I know, it sounds wacky – but they can use them for up to 6 months past the expiration date at the Commissary (for edible items) and their PX (for personal care items).
Here are a few things you need to know —
- It takes a while to get them to the people who will use them, once a package is shipped over seas. That means all coupons have to be mailed with at least 4 months to go.
- All coupons have to be sorted into two groups: things people eat and things they dont. That is the difference between the Commissary and PX.
- You can only send manufacturer’s coupons — no store or restaurant coupons.
Coupons can’t be more than 30 days expired (so we have time to repackage and sent over before the 60 day deadline).
Coupons need to be sorted into the two different groups (edible by people and non-edible by people). Baggies or rubberbanded together
Please don’t send more than one package a month.
