Cranberry Skillet Bread? Skillet meals seem to be all the rage and why not? You can mix in them, cook in them and bake in them! Here is a fall favorite – prefect for that fresh crop of cranberries! It’s great along any pork or poultry dinner and a crowd pleaser!
Cranberry Skillet Bread Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cranberries or 2 cups frozen cranberries, chopped
1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
- Heat oven to 350º.
- Grease bottom of 10″ skillet.
- Mix cranberries, sugar, oil, milk, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into skillet.
- Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes.
Now rip into your Cranberry Skillet Bread like a monkey on a cupcake!
