It was my scrap-booking weekend with my gal pals. We have been getting together almost ten years now and usually share a lot of treats with each other in a pot-luck style over the weekend as we work on our various crafting projects. I was tempted to cheat.
There was a bag of Peanut M&Ms on a table and it was beyond tempting. I thought to myself:
“Only one won’t hurt”
So, I opened the bag and poured myself just one candy coated peanuty goodness into my hand.
Out popped a plain peanut.
Now let me say — in my almost fifty years on this planet, I have NEVER seen just a peanut come out of a bag of Peanut M&Ms.
I couldn’t stop laughing. I looked up at the ceiling and told God:
“I get the message! I will be good and stick to the plan”.
Then, I rolled the bag of M&Ms back up and put them back down on the table.
Back to working on my scrap-booking pictures for me! That was my only time that I was tempted to cheat and it was a reminder that I am not alone, and that someone has faith in me to watch my back if I don’t.
I am still chuckling…
