If you are out hitting the garage sales, you need to know what the REAL prices are to see if you are getting a bargain or not.
Let’s take this LEGO Workstation — for $59, brand new, at the Container Store (by Woodfield Mall in Schaumberg).
I saw one at a garage sale, let’s just say “well loved”, and they had $40 on it.
No bargain — especially since a piece was broken.
If it had been $10-20, I might have looked at it twice.
You get the gist.
