Summer is fast approaching us! With that being said, we can all get burned with the Sun being so hot! It is possible for EVERYONE to get burned, regardless of whether you don’t think you will or not…trust me, a skin cancer survivor! Here are my tips on How to Get Rid of a Sunburn Overnight.
How to Get Rid of a Sunburn Overnight
Whether you have dark skin tones or really pale skin tones (like me and Miss Sarah) it’s still possible for you to burn! It is extremely important that you wear sunblock no matter what..and lather up your kiddos too! Not doing this can cause extreme sun damage and even skin cancers such as melanoma, in less rare cases you can develop sun spots and old age looking skin prematurely! So in the cases that we do develop a sun burn we need to be able to get rid of it fast right? Because they hurt, they’re red, and they burn, {obviously}!
This is for when you really scorch yourself, because sometimes aloe by itself doesn’t always work, and it doesn’t always work right away…So here is how to get rid of a sunburn over night:

Supplies to get rid of a sunburn:
3-4 pieces of aloe vera, cut in half
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp raw honey
Procedure:
First, break open the aloe vera sticks and put the gel all over your sunburn.
Allow that to dry completely, it should take a couple of minutes.
Do not rinse, apply coconut oil over top of the aloe and allow that to soak in for a minute.
Take your raw honey and only apply to the spots that are the most burnt or possibly even blistering.
Sleep overnight and when you wake up in the morning you should feel great and no longer burnt! Rinse off any excess liquids or sticky spots and you will get rid of a Sunburn Overnight!

Now that you have taken care of that, how about making these All-natural Homemade Sunscreen Bars  to prevent it from happening again!
