I confess – the cupboards and drawers in my kitchen are a mess. Don’t judge! I’ve been accumulating kitchenware since college and what my cupboards and drawers hide now is a hodgepodge of mismatched, worn out and just plain inconvenient kitchenware. All of that is changing now that I have discovered Collapsible Kitchenware by Good Cooking.
First of all, let’s talk about the Collapsible Measuring Cups. These handy cups compress to fit flat in the drawer and take up very little space. When you’re ready to use them, they simply pop out and are ready to go. My favorite part of using these measuring cups is when I need to measure sticky things like honey or peanut butter. After filling the cups you just push them inside out and all of the gooey stuff you have measured falls right out. No more trying to scrape peanut butter out of a small cup! Plus, when pushed inside out, cleaning out that sticky stuff is a breeze! For $9.99, this item is indispensable!
The handheld strainer that was lurking in my cupboard was an embarrassment. It’s the wire mesh piece of junk that lots of us have. The mesh was starting to come apart from the frame and parts of it were a little rusty. These kinds of things are not an issue with the Good Cooking Collapsible Handheld Strainer. Because it’s not mesh, there is no wire to come apart. It collapses to stack nicely into my cabinet and it lightweight. As with the measuring cups, clean-up is a piece of cake. This strainer sells for $14.99. I cannot believe that I put up with my old mesh nightmare for so long when the Cook Cooking Collapsible Handheld Strainer exists in the world!
If you are anything like my family, your colander is a hard working lady. I use mine for cleaning fruits and veggies, and for straining the pasta that we eat a few times a week. Why then have I been using a cheap plastic colander that is a big, bulky space killer? No more. The Collapsible Colander by Good Cooking is my new best friend in the kitchen. Made of the same silicon and stainless steel as the Handheld Strainer, this colander fold perfectly flat for storage and pops out to a generous 9.5 inch diameter, sturdy structure. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. The Collapsible Colander is $34.99 and I think it’s a must in any kitchen.
By far my favorite of the Collapsible Kitchen line from Good Cooking is the Party Platter. We all have one -dip in the middle, veggies on the sides, big, bulky, only gets used a handful of times a year and spends the rest of its time being in the way. Well, never again!
The Collapsible Party Platter is the best! Made from silicon and stainless steel this platter folds away to nothing, taking up no space while it waits for your next get together. I was so impressed after taking it out of its box and expanding it. Not only is it incredibly sturdy, the compartments are bigger than those of a traditional platter so once you fill it up, it’ll take care of guest for quite a while. The Collapsible Party Platter by Good Cooking sells for $49.99 and is going to be one of my new go-to gifts for people in my life. My mother in law has a birthday coming up and her currently party platter was a gift she got at her wedding. It’s time for an upgrade and the Collapsible Party Platter by Good Cooking is just the thing.
