Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Savers Voices program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
I have shared with you before that I am in the Verizon Ambassador Program — well, I’ve been playing with my new toy!
I simply ADORE things that make my life easier~!!!
As I have said before, I am not very tech savvy so I just LOVE the “Google Now” feature that is build into this Droid Ultra.
After you I set it up to recognize my voice, it became more fun to play with than you can imagine. It was better than my Tupperware cars that had Onstar Concierge service.
Any multi-tasking Mom will tell you that an item that helps keep you organized and makes it simple to do so, it worth it’s weight in gold. Since the Droid Ultra is so light (only 137 grams) it’s more like worth it’s weight in diamonds…it does so much with just the phrase “Google Now”.
You can say “call ____” and it will call them without you having to change a screen or type it in.
You can say “Show me the route to ____” and it will pull up a map for you, without you having to change into a driving directions or map application. It can modify your route, work around road construction, etc.
You can cay “send a message to ____” and it will generate a text for you.
But wait – there is more!
Maybe you want to remind yourself to pick something up? Help the munchkin by checking their math homework?
How about using your Netflicks and watching a movie? Listening to holiday music on the run? How about adding something to your calendar?
It’s all covered!
People often ask how I can get as much done as I do…and this is part of my secret. I have been using hand held technology to keep me on top of things – right down to working with the Homeless Mission at our church. It’s a 24 hour, portable personal assistant.
I only shared a fraction of the things this baby could do.
Now, if it only gave foot rubs…
