Miss Sarah was under the weather last week with aches and a stomach problem. Then, she felt better after a day or two. We knew what to look for as we have been following the news about the current flu season.
Sure enough, a few days later she had a raging fever. We took her into the clinic and she was diagnosed with Type A Flu, which bought her a week off of school.
We lived in the world of Chlorox wipes, hand washing, and drinking a lot of fluids for the week. She kept getting plenty of rest and then, rejoined the world of the healthy. At least she was able to keep up with her college courses that is one perk of being an online student.
We DID get the shots and she still got sick. Hopefully, it avoids your family!
