Here is what I am looking at this week, keeping in mind that I have $28 to go and want to hit two different stores, maybe three!
Family Dollar had canned Libby Veggies 3/$1 – the best price I have seen in a while, even with coupons. I am low on corn and green beans, a quick add on to a dinner and there there is creamed corn for corn casserole (which the hubster has been asking for…) I can hit it while the kiddo is in Ballet (it’s close by) I think I will get $5 worth…
Cub Food’s has butter for under $2 a pound!!! REAL BUTTER!! This is the first store I have seen crack the $2.50 price point for REAL BUTTER in a while, they have it for $1.78 with a limit of two. (silly store, don’t they KNOW I will make more than one transaction>>>?) I have a few expired coupons to use up (high value freebies) so I should check it out on Wednesday or so when the kiddo is off of school. I think I am getting $7.12 in butter and some freebies…
That leaves me $16 for Copps , which is almost an afterthought as I have done really well this month and am pretty stocked up! Here is what caught my eye when I checked out Pocket Your Dollars last Monday and what I added when I got the flier on Wednesday:
3 more cans Swanson Broth 3/$1
California Oranges 4 lb or Red Grapefruit 5 lb $2.99
Sale price, no coupon needed
Final price: $2.99 after sale
McCormick Gravy Mix – 50% off
I have a bunch of $.55/2 coupons to use up which should stock me up on gravy mix pretty well – I like it for crock pot meals and openfaced hot sandwiches. If the original price is $1, these will come to about $.22 each — I think I will get 20 of them…
4 Carnation Evaporated Milk $1.00
Buy 2 and use $0.50/2 from 9/26 Smart Source insert or 11/14 Red Plum #1 insert or $0.50/2 Carnation Evaporated Milk printable
Final price: $0.50 each after doubled coupon
Milk for $1.98
I have that $4 coupon and the Free milk voucher to use…that should leave me about $9 to start playing the big game at Walgreens with the Black Friday Specials!
We are going to squeeze out every bit of bargain we can out of this month — AND we ate out with our $100 – TWICE!!
Now that we are getting to the end…how are you doing with your budget?
