The Best Foods for a Halloween Party
Halloween is the best when it comes to food, so many different candies and goodies. You can get really creative when it come to treats for Halloween parties and let’s be real, the best part to a Halloween party or any party for that matter is the food. Here are some of the best Halloween party foods, some that are pretty gross looking but still taste delicious.
Deviled Egg Spiders
This one is so easy, just make your usual deviled eggs. Then you’re gonna take some black olives and slice them in half (for the spiders bodies). Place a half on each deviled egg, once you’ve done that take the remaining black olives and slice them into thin pieces. Place eight thin black olive slices around the half olive on the deviled egg for the spiders legs. There you have it an easy spooky treat.
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
These are also easy to make and it gives a good use for all the seeds from the pumpkins you carved. Pre-heat your oven to 300 degrees F, take and wash the seeds off, then toss them in a bowl of olive oil and seasonings of your choice. Once you are done coating them with the oil and seasonings, spread them on a baking sheet, pop them in the oven for about 45 minutes. Stir them occasionally and take them out once they are golden brown.
They look kinda gross but taste great! All it is is lady fingers. You take and make the lady fingers as you usually would (if you don’t have a recipe there are plenty online) Once done baking in the oven let cool, then you’re going to take half an almond and place it on each cookie to make it look like a nail. You’re going to use red decorating gel or icing to “glue” them on and let a little drip out to give the illusion of blood. In the end, you’ll have gross looking but delicious witch fingers to snack on.
Worms in Dirt Cake
You may have seen this before but it’s always a hit. Take and bake a chocolate cake, frost with chocolate frosting. Then all you need to do is crush some Oreos until it looks like dirt, sprinkle over the cake along with some gummy works and there you have it. A nasty tasty treat for all your guests to chow down.
There you have it some of the best foods for a Halloween party. These are all fairly easy to make and are sure to make your party great and your guests happy. I hope you have a great spooky Halloween and enjoy all the treats you can. Have you made any of these treats for your Halloween parties? Do you have any that aren’t on the list?
