It’s a great holiday event – seeing the Nutcracker!
Check around with your local dance studios – almost all of them have their own version of it and their tickets are MUCH less than the “professional” performances.
If you are in the Madison, WI area – you can see a shortened version of it at the Waismen Center. It’s put on by the Dance Wisconsin group of the Monona Dance Academy and is SO frugal: $2 for adults and $1 for children. Seriously, you can’t beat that for a Sunday afternoon family event!
When is it?
Sunday, November 27 at 1:00 & 3:00 p.m.
NUTCRACKER FANTASY—a fantasy full of beautiful costumes and engaging choreography in this seasonal ballet preview with some of Madison’s finest young dancers. A series favorite!
Advance tickets for any show in the entire series can be purchased at the ticket table beginning on the first performance date and then throughout the series. The ticket table opens at NOON and is only open on days when there is a performance.
