to have friends with big toys!
Our neighbor and friend Bryan has a little farm equipment.
We were dreading taking that part of the swing set/play structure apart
and hauling around to the back and he volunteered to do it.
It had to be driven down the street a bit,
to the driveway of the church that touches our back yard, through their yard (with their permission) and into our yard.
We had a small issue under the big Mulberry tree — a large dead branch was stuck up in it and eliminating clearance…
After he got it through, he used the back hoe part to rip that branch out of the tree. It is going to be MUCH easier to cut it apart, now that it’s on the ground!
Safely in it’s place, we just have to put the swing set back together and attach it,
add the slides, etc and stain it.
Bryan and his toy saved me over a week’s worth of work –
and took less than 15 minutes.
He wouldn’t let us pay him —
but he WILL get a thank you card in the mail with a restaurant gift card
in it so their family can have a nice dinner out.
