I simply LOVE the report feature of the Just Between Friends Sale!
I told you that I would update you on the progress…and the reports of yesterday’s sales are up.
Thursday (vendor/volunteer sale) – 20 items sold for a total of $79.00
Friday (public first day)- 50 more items sold for a total of $194.00
Saturday (vendor/volunteer 1/2 price sale) – 21 items sold for a total of $76.00
Sunday (public 1/2 price sale) – 6 more items sold for a total of $21.50
That’s 97 of my 270 items, for $370.50.
The best part?
I didn’t have to site there all weekend!
Yes, they take a cut of the sales, but I still came out sweetly.
Five of those items I bought for just TEN CENTS EACH at a Dollar General Seasonal Clearance sale!
8 pairs of the $1 shoes sold along with ALL of the baby outfits! ALL of the little girls dresses that I had found at garage sales last year for $1 or less sold too.
What didn’t sell?
ANY of the Noah’s ark items that used to be in Miss Sarah’s nursery….
As far as decor, I guess that ship has sailed, but I will keep it in the mix for about a year and try again.
There are plenty more consignment sales popping up before summer starts! If you are sitting on a few things, it could really make sense to tag it and try.
What am I going to do with that money?
Easy. It is my summer garage sale fund! A lot of items were Sarah’s clothes and now, I need to stock up on size 7 and 8…so the hunt is on. It’s almost Garage Sale season and I will do what I did last year – have weekly posts about where the neighborhood sales are!
