I am the person who jokes about doing the Couch to 4K program… and that I have mastered the couch part…yet I am signed up for The Madison Color Run with Miss Sarah!
Have you heard about The Color Run before?
It is a fun 5K event that isn’t really about your racing prowess as it is about enjoying the fun of the event.
2014 is the year of The Color Run Kaleidoscope Tour!
You can expect amazing new gear for each person participating in the race (the t-shirt, headband, wrist band and sling bag in the picture), Fresh music, and Color crazy race attractions. This is 5K Magic like only The Color Run can do!
So, how does this work?
- You wear white.
- You end up doused with tons of different colors.
There are no winners, and no official times… it’s pretty much a fun run with a fantastic party at the finish line! This is PERFECT for new “runners” like me, or the experienced runner who just wants to have some fun.
The Color Run is hitting cities like never before — and there are TONS of events at different locations across not only the United States, but in many different other countries!
Here is a perk for my readers — a discount code!
Simply go HERE to register, and make sure you use that code COLOR5OFF to get $5 off a registration to ANY city. Important: code must be entered at time of registration, cannot be retro-applied. Also please type the code in, do not copy/paste. Not valid on flash city sales.
***If you want to do the Madison, WI race with Miss Sarah and me you need to hurry! The fun is on May 4th and they don’t have many slots open!
Make sure you look for us and say “hi” — we’ll be the ones wearing paint!
Disclosure: I was provided passes to the event for sharing the information with you…Miss Sarah and I are still really looking forward to the event!
