Welcome to another week’s worth of food ideas for your family. This is what is on the agenda to serve those at our house — I even link to some of the recipes for you.
I like to start out by looking at our family calendar and seeing what nights are busier than others – and working my menu around that.
We have a kind of crazy week:
Running errands for those older members of our family, me heading to Chicago for a blogging convention and Brand Meetings, then coming home to only to turn aroud and hit the cabin with the family. (run-run-run-!)
That means I need to plan ahead for THEM for the few days I am gone, pack things that we are taking to the cabin AND make a grocery list for when we get to the town on Sunday. I know we will need things like eggs, milk, bread, etc.
* Means it is something I pulled out of the freezer
Here is our list for the week:
Breakfast will include: Fresh Fruit, BlueBerry muffins, Smoothies
Lunches as normal (sandwiches, snacky stuff, wraps, left overs, tappas plates) and for dinner…
Wednesday – Fridge Clean Out
Thursday – I am Gone and Sarah is at a Sleep Over
Friday – I am Gone and Sarah is at a Sleep Over
Saturday – Meatball sandwiches with veggie chips
Sunday – Turkey dinner at the cabin – with dressing, potatoes, pickled beets and more!
What are you going to feed YOUR family this week?
