It’s a fun, last week, before school starts for us. Monday night I have a coupon class, Tuesday night we meet Miss Sarah’s teacher at the school’s open house. That is about it on our nightly list!
Keep in mind you need to plan breakfast and lunches, besides your dinners…it all adds up to saving you a lot of money, like I talked about in the $1,000 lunch bag post!
Here is our list for the week:
Breakfast will include:
- blueberry pancakes
- pecan waffles
- Bacon- tomato – chive omelets
- Fridge Clean Out
- granola bars, grapes
- PbJ sandwiches/baby carrots
- BLTs/string cheese
- Leftovers from dinner
Monday – Sloppy Joes, homemade guacamole and chips
Tuesday – Baked chicken breasts, carrot souffle (recipe coming), wild rice
Wednesday – Ravioli lasagna, green salad
Thursday – Grilled ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, multi grain rolls
Friday – Chicken a la king over biscuits (using left over chicken from Tuesday)
Saturday -Fridge Clean Out
Sunday – Grilled Salmon, creamed peas, baked hashbrowns
