Part of me cringes at not taking advantage of Copp’s Foods’ Double Double Days the last 2 weeks, but we simply didn’t need anything! Maybe, if the ads had been better, or didn’t pull a few bags out of the stockpile for the food pantry…might have ventured out.
Next Saturday might be different – the new ad shows fresh cranberries for $1.29, cheap cans of chicken broth, frozen veggies and cough drops…
What is on the calendar?
– Peanut Butter and Nutella Toast
Lunches as normal (sandwiches, snacky stuff, wraps, left overs, tappas plates) and for dinner…
Tuesday – Chicken & Broccoli Crepes (skipped it last week because Miss Sarah and I were ill)
Wednesday – Meatless: Grilled Cheese and Canned Tomato soup
Thursday – Fridge Clean Out (seriously, the fridge is too full!)
Friday – Cold pasta salad, multigrain rolls
Saturday – French Onion Soup with a green salad
Sunday – Using a gift card and going out for Pizza (Miss Sarah got a Reading Reward from School)!
