This is just a fun thing to do for the kiddos around Halloween — dress up simple food to make it a little adventurous. Miss Sarah totally cracks up when I surprise her… and, you should see the other kiddos at lunch, they often crowd around her to see what is in her lunchbox.
It’s fun being Mom — I love it!
- Hot Dogs
- Pillsbury Crescent Dough
Use a sharp knife to cut “legs” and “arms” into your hot dogs. Cut thin strips of the crescent dough and wrap your dogs up – arms, legs and head! Make sure you leave some dog showing through — they roast nicely in the oven and taste delicious!
Now, bake at 350 for 20 minutes – until the wraps are golden.
These work nice in a school lunch, when cooled — or serve right away for dinner.
