OK, this coming Saturday Copps is doubling TEN coupons per transaction, when you buy $25+ (shelf, not sale price).
I peeked at the new ad for us HERE at Pocket Your Dollars — their ads start on Sunday and act as a preview for those of us who have ads that start on Thursday.
To be honest, I am less than thrilled with the deals in the ad that week…I also have a complete stockpile so I am looking at this sale opportunity a little differently. I am going to stock up on yogurt, as it freezes well and we are almost out…and some rice, but that is about it.
I have a disabled brother and love to help him out with a few things — so I will be shopping a lot for HIM this Saturday. He loves things like the Pillsbury Sweet Moments treats…
I hope the $25 GC that I won off a blog giveaway this weekend will be here by then — that would make all of this even sweeter, LOL!
Here is my rough plan:
Transactions 1 and 2
20 Yoplait Yogurt for $.60 each, using two of the $1 off 10 coupons (that will double) and I should get back a $2 Catalina
8 Riceland Rice @$1.19 each, using eight $.50/1 coupons (that will double)
OOP cost = $9.50 ish – getting $2 back
That gives me almost free rice and a great deal on yogurt – about $.30 a cup after getting back the $2 Catalina!
Transaction 3 and 4
10 Sweet Moments @$2.50, use 10 $1/1 coupons (that will double) AND the $2 Yoplait Catalina. My brother likes to have 2 of these after lunch so it should last him a while
OOP cost= $3 ish
Transactions 5 and 6
10 Pillsbury Scrambles @$2.99 using 10 of the $1/1 coupons that will double. SUPER easy for him to make and he adds a little zip to them with a splash of Tabasco.
OOP cost = $10ish
10 Rhodes Dinner Rolls @$2.29 using 10 of the $1/1 coupons that will double. (He likes to make sandwiches with them) and a gallon of milk, using one of my Kemp’s $3/1 Qs.
OOP cost = $3 ish
If that $25 gift card is here — that would take a $38 OOP grand total to about $13. I have $11.77 left for my monthly budget so this is going to be SOOOOO close!
If you think “roll over minutes” I would still have $49.25 from the previous months this year that I didn’t use —
January OVER $3.97
February UNDER $1.92
March OVER $.73
April UNDER $8.19
May UNDER $4.53
June OVER $4.22
July OVER $.79
August UNDER $34.37
September UNDER $9.77
