I am Beyond tickled to be part of this opportunity! You know I love finding HEALTHY, great snacks/foods for Miss Sarah and Newman’s Own Organics was a great fit for our family.
The great people at Newman’s sent me a HUGE box full of all sorts of yummy treats (over 10 pounds!) and wanted me to share thoughts on four of the items. To quote Miss Sarah:
“How the heck can we pick just four things? They are all so yummy”!
Yes, Kid tested-mother approved, LOL!
Let’s talk about a few things:
We had several different flavors and liked them all. Seriously, what kid doesn’t like pretzels? Mine. She liked these though and swears they taste different.
Made with organic flour and we all had different favorites. I liked the chocolate chip oatmeal. The hubster loved the Mint Newman-O’s (swears they are 100 times better than Oreos) and Miss Sarah was the Fig Newman gal.
I always have had Altoids in my purse but liked the Newman’s Own Organics Peppermint better. No funky chalk in my teeth or aftertaste!
- Dried Fruit.
I have always loved dried apricots, but not realized that they shouldn’t be orange! The REAL thing is sweeter and darker, closer to a dried prune. I’m hooked! I cut one up each morning for my oatmeal along with walnuts and cranberries.
I know why they said to pick out 4 items. We are giving away 4-item packs, TEN of them to be correct! You have TEN chances to win — yummy treats, just in time for those first few school lunches!
Sponsored by Newman’s Own Organics
About Newman’s Own Organics Back in 1993, Nell Newman and her business partner Peter Meehan weren’t sure there’d be a market for organic snacks. With seed money from her father Paul Newman, Nell started the organic division of Newman’s Own and the rest is history, as they say. With new products on store shelves every year (did you know Newman’s Own Organics makes tea!?), what was once a division of Newman’s Own is now a growing and successful company in its own right. Newman’s Own Organics proves that organic food doesn’t have to be boring and bland–it can be tasty and fun too.
