Paradise MicroWonder Microwaveable Stainless Steel Bowls by Bonita
Like a lot of us, am a wife and mother with a full time job. Anything that can help me save time and money is more than welcome in my world. When I saw the MicroWonder Bowls by Bonita at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, I did a little happy dance inside thinking of how convenient these bowls would be and in my home use, they have proven to be a kitchen tool I do not want to live without.
The MicroWonder Bowls come in three different sizes for anything you might be cooking. In bright colors, these bowls are attractive enough to take with you if you bring your lunch to work like I do. The lids on these bowls snaps on tight so if you do take these bowls with you there is no need to worry about leaks. If you are simply storing something in your fridge, even something with a strong scent, the lids are tight enough to keep your entire refrigerator from smelling like a chopped onion! Not only that, these bowls are stainless steel so they will not take on those scents. Love that!
I truly feel that Bonita has “built a better mousetrap” with their MicroWonder bowls. The size variety means that there is a bowl that fits every prep task in your kitchen. From prepping the bowls can go directly into the freezer for storage. When you are ready to use the food you have stored, the Bonita MicroWonder bowls can go right into the microwave to heat up your meal. Lastly, the MicroWonder bowls are dishwasher safe. I absolutely love the convenience of making, storing and eating from the same container – less dishes = happy me.
There is so much to be said for a stainless steel bowl that can go in the microwave. Not only will this bowl not take on the scents of the food in it, it also will not stain (as those of us that have spaghetti tinted plastic storage containers are familiar with). Best of all, using a stainless steel bowl prevents harmful toxins from leaching into your food as can happen with plastic containers. I have found in my own use of the MicroWonder bowls that heating time takes a little longer than in most plastic containers, but the benefits far outweigh the extra minute or two in my mind.
The Paradise MicroWonder Bowls by Bonita have been such an asset in my kitchen. I use them several times a week to bring my lunch to work and the largest of the bowls is in near constant use for prep and storage at home. If you are busy and looking for a great alternative to plastic storage containers, the MicroWonder Bowls by Bonita could be just what you have been looking for!
