I like my fries fresh and hot. Sprinkled with a pinch of salt and then dunked in ketchup. Gosh fries are such a guilty pleasure of mine, but I just can’t resist. The very best ones are my homemade fries and the only way I can make enough for the whole family to eat is to use my Pull ‘n Slice Mandoline by Chef’n.
With piles of freshly washed potatoes on my counter, the only way that I can slice them all in a timely manor is to putt out my nifty Pull ‘n Slice Mandoline. The design is unlike any other mandoline I have ever used. It keeps the food still while the deck moves back and forth to slice. That means my hands and fingers stay far away from sharp blades at all times! Have little people who really want to help in the kitchen? Now you can be worry free (but please still supervise them).
It only takes me about 10 minutes to have enough potatoes turned into fries for my entire family. I can choose from four thickness settings and make a variety of different cuts with the four different cutting blades to produce them with precision. You can see my waffle fries — which rapidly vanished!
Of course I can also use it to slice tomatoes, cucumber or onions- but fries are my favorite.
You can purchase the Pull ‘n Slice Mandoline for $49.99 from chefn.com.
disclaimer: While I was compensated for this post, all thoughts (and fry munchers) are entirely my own. I should have played with this much sooner and could have had some fun when canning!
