Ever had one of those nights where you were kind of tired, the news on TV was less than exciting, and your brain was going a million miles a minute? Welcome to my evening, LOL! Here are the random thoughts going through my head right now- enjoy:
We grilled the HyVee $3.99 salmon last night, using the recipe that was right on the package (just butter). It was amazing and I am sorry I didn’t pick up 3-4 more of them! Seriously, it was fantastic for the price and I want more. Right now.
The HyVee strawberries from the same sale last weekend = Super Huge! I thought they were going to be kind of boring and pretty darned white inside when I cut them up. They weren’t. They were AMAZINGLY sweet and I wish I had bought a second box.
I forgot to get that $1.99 Angel food cake when I was at Copp’s last Wednesday. I’ll live. (but it would have been yummy under some of those strawberries…….)
I didn’t get lettuce at Copp’s on my last trip like I had planned. They all looked nasty – browning edges and super light – SOOOO not worth messing with. I remembered that when looking through the new Sentry ad that has lettuce (for $0.20 more a head)
I saw a cute princess castle bed, made out of plywood and might have to make one for my daughter. I wonder how long it would take to make, and paint…and if I would have to put dinosaurs on it. (sigh)
The weekend after next, I am having a garage sale. I have a TON of stuff in my garage that I WAS going to take out this week and price, then put back, in an orderly fashion. It snowed – and hailed – and frozen sleet was tossed into the mix. I haven’t started yet……
Carol, the librarian I work with at the Sun Prairie Public Library, is a total sweetie. Enough said.
I wish the freezing sleet would give Sun Prairie a 2 hour delay tomorrow – then I wouldn’t have to get my kindergartner ready and could sleep in.
I forgot to lay out Ms Sarah’s clothes for tomorrow – and don’t want to sneak into her room to do it. It will keep until tomorrow.
Leno is kind of boring tonight – and is working liek a sleeping pill – so it’s time for bed.
