I told you, we are working on HEALTHY stuff this year — and I was tickled to be able to review Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (4oz)! If you aren’t familiar with it — let me give you a few quick benefits of adding it to your diet:
- Increases Memory and Concentration
- Energy Boosting
- Metabolism Stimulating
- Fat Blocker
- Full of Antioxidants
It’s actually something that was recommended to me from my doctor to try!
If you get the “good stuff” – the powder like Uvernal’s, you can use it in desserts, make smoothies, homemade granola bars, and even ice cream! Oh yeah, you can make it into tea too! We all know how good green tea is for us!
I thought I would try a quick ice cream in my Blendtec — and it was only 4 ingredients!
Raspberry Green Matcha Tea Ice Cream
- 8 oz frozen raspberries
- 2 cups cream
- 1 Tbsp Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (4oz)
- 2T Agave nectar
I popped everything in the Blendtec — berries last.
All I had to do was hit the “ice cream” setting on the machine and let it rip!
It didn’t turn green — but a purdy shade of pink! This made it easier to feed to my 8-year-old taste testers! It went 50/50 with them, Miss Sarah’s friend said “ick” but she told me after the fact that she didn’t like raspberries, LOL! Miss Sarah raved about it and I found it pretty tasty too!
The Organic Matcha Green Tea powder came in a re-sealable bag that lasts 18 month. My ONLY complaint is that the “zipper” on the bag doesn’t work. I now have it in a different bag, after mistakenly “poofing” some of it out and loosing it.
If you want to try this yourself, right now you can get 25% off the same Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder (4oz) bag by using the code- TGY4AM6P
That takes it from the normal price of $24.99 down to just $18.74!! It’s a LOT of tea powder for a great price, 24 servings in fact! I plan to smuggle it in my cookies next – shhh….don’t tell them!
Disclosure: Even though I was given the product for free, it these are all my opinions and ideas.
