SIMPLE shopping this week- I actually hit my local Sentry Foods — they are close and I worked with their sales.
2 Honest Tea @$1.00 (less $1.00/2 coupon)
$1.50 of bananas
Iceberg Lettuce @$.99 (Mastered the Greek Salad Dressing!)
Minute Maid Cherry Lime Aid half gallon – get this, marked down to $.49 as it had 2 days until it expired! (It didn’t last two days and filled that Sonic craving we had!)
Then, a run to Kwik Trip for gas and milk – another $1.99
Today, Sentry again!
I wanted the 24oz bottles of Hunt’s Ketchup for $.70 each (in their 10 for $10 sale, with an in ad coupon for $3.00 off WYB 10 items)
4 Ketchup @$.70 – for my youngest child
6 Hunt’s Snack Pack pudding @$.70 – for my oldest child (husband)
1 bag bagels @$1.00
4 Honest Tea @$1.00 (less 2 $1/2 coupons)
An even $10.00
$100 Monthly Budget
-$24.62 Aldi’s 10/9
$72.89 to go
-$1.06 McDonald’s 10/12
$71.83 to go
-$1.99 Kwik Trip
$51.07 to go
…almost forgot Miss Sarah’s school lunches! She gets “hot lunch” once a week @$2.05!
$42.87 left for the month, with 12 days left.
As I said, we are VERY well stocked up – so that should cover the milk/bread and leave some extra for shopping the day after Halloween!
