Finding the list, checking it twice, sending the kiddos off, Ah, isn’t this nice?
It’s that time again. Back-to-school. Everything on the list has been bought and sent in with your child. It’s time to relax. Until she lets you know the strap broke on her backpack, that is. Or maybe it was the zipper. Or maybe there’s a hole in the bottom right at the seam. These things happen. Sometimes we have to question the decision to buy that end-of-the-season-highly-discounted backpack with no warranty. Yeah, these things happen.
Solo New York Backpacks can help you out. Not only do they come with a Limited Five-Year Warranty, but they come in some fun designs inspired by life in New York City. Unlike most of those discounted backpacks, if your Solo backpack has a defect in materials or workmanship, it will be repaired or the defective part will be replaced at no charge. And speaking of no charge: Solo offers free standard shipping to U.S. delivery addresses in the 48 contiguous states. After getting all those things on that list, it’s nice to hear those words—“no charge.”
We had the chance to take a look at the Solo New York Brooklyn Backpack. It has features and compartments that make it great for elementary school on up through college. Our littles have years to come of toting that backpack to and fro, from almost empty to entirely too full. It’s nice to know this backpack starts out at only 1.45 lbs. Now, granted its body size of 18″ x 12.5″ x 7″ makes a mama nostalgic as I think about the fact my little was only 18.5″ at birth. *tear* Nonetheless, that is a manageable size for the kindergartner as well as being large enough to hold all that is needed for the college student. Plus, the padded back and straps add to the comfort of carrying the thing each day.
There’s plenty of room for things inside as well. The two front pockets include a zip-down organizer section with a key clip. There’s a place in there to keep pens, pencils, and highlighters handy. The side mesh pockets hold most water bottles or maybe a little stuffed friend that makes going off to school bearable. Inside, there’s a fully padded mesh 15.6″ laptop pocket. They just think of everything at Solo! That padded pocket is there to add protection as there’s more room in the compartment for books, notebooks, and binders.
These backpacks are worth a look. Solo New York products stand out in design inspired by happenings in New York City and in function with a wide variety of backpacks that meet the needs of the student.
