Happy dating!

  1. Pack a picnic (don’t forget the wine), hop on your bicycles and go for a ride until you come across the perfect resting spot
  2. Grab a blanket and some treats and head to the drive in movie theatre.
  3.  Stay up all night and watch the sunrise together.
  4. Visit the fair.
  5. Have Grandma take the kids for the night so you and your spouse can enjoy your empty home together. Host a dinner party for two. Get dressed up, set the table with fine china, (pick up a to go order from your favorite restaurant to avoid having to cook), turn off the lights, and light a few candles.
  6. Go fruit picking. Whether it is raspberries, strawberries, or peaches gathering summer’s harvest with your love is always an adventure.
  7. Walk around the mall. No need to spend a lot of money, maybe a few dollars on a coffee or treat.
  8. Grab some slushies from the gas station and take a walk around your neighborhood.
  9. Go fishing.
  10. Watch the stars.
  11. Pick out a dessert recipe, go shopping for all of the ingredients, and prepare the dessert together.

  19. Go rollerskating at the roller rink.
  20. Visit the zoo or aquarium. This is a great idea especially if you usually take the kids. We can easily get caught up providing care for the kids which doesn’t always allow time to enjoy the animals.
  21. Play board games. There are plenty of ways to spice this date idea up. Leave Candyland in the closet, try playing Cards Against Humanity.
  22. Go to an art exhibit or Renaissance fair. There is always an art or wine show taking place on the weekends. Check your local area for special events that take place in the summer.
  23. Take a walk around a large superstore and pick up a bite to eat. Costco would be the perfect spot for this date.
  24. Go ghost hunting. Are there any local rumors that float around your town about a run down house or abandoned building? Go for a little adventure and discover the truth for yourselves.
  25. Go rock climbing or take a hike together.
  26. Visit the farmer’s market.
