I know there is an ice fishing event for kids on Saturday (by the Yahara Fishing Club at Brittingham Park from 9am-1pm,) but it should be NASTY out there after the rain/etc that we started getting yesterday. Seriously, hit the Kid’s In the Rotunda or something else instead of being wet and cold. (Wet + cold = hypothermia, right?) Although, they will have free hot dogs and cocoa……….

Space Place family workshops are offered every Saturday at 10 a.m. for children ages 6-10 and their parents. The workshops are free and open to the public. No registration is required for any of the workshops but attendance is LIMITED to the first 50 people.

Stop at the UW Arboretum (1:30-2:30PM) for a FREE Nature Talk about snow. (if we have any left after all the rain). Dress warm folks, it’s going to be VERY chilly!
