With summer in full swing around these parts it’s not surprise that people are already looking for ways to beat the unbearable heat; Ice Cream trucks are starting to make the rounds, lines are forming at my favorite smoothie shops, bathing suits are flying off the racks and pools are being uncovered for their summer debut. Summer is in full swing and after months of cold weather, I’m soaking up ever sunshine filled second of it! One of my favorite ways to beat the heat on slow days when I’m not out running errands or keeping up with kids, is to indulge in a fresh, frozen slush or homemade smoothie. There’s nothing better than homemade in my opinion and this is especially true with frozen drinks.
I was given the opportunity recently to replace our old average Joe blender with an amazing workhorse from Blendtec. Do you think I could have turned that opportunity down?
Blendtec was founded in 1975 by Tom Dickson, who got his start by revolutionizing the home wheat milling industry and later moved on to enhancing the everyday, average blender. The result was Blendtec as it’s known today, for its innovative blending technology that is used in homes, coffee shops and restaurants around the globe.
For my review I was sent the Blendtec Designer 725.
The Blendtec Designer 725 is a sleek multi-speed pulse, workhorse and boasts the most innovative blending technology that the market has to offer to date. Its illuminated interface is touch operated for ease of use while it’s illuminated display alerts the user of remaining blend time. Powered by a 3.8 peak horsepower motor, the Designer 725 also has a 100-speed capacitive touch slider and enables its user to chop, puree, mix, stir and blend with just a slide of the finger. We picked up a bunch of fresh produce to start taking this baby out for a test drive!
Seriously, it is so easy to use that Miss Sarah can use it.
Indulging in your favorite shakes, ice cream, smoothies and frozen slush drinks has never been easier than with the Blendtec Designer 725. You pop the ingredients into the blender jar and simply hit the “ice cream” or “juice” or “smoothie” button! It even makes hot soup!
If those aren’t your particular favorite treats then rest assured that your Blendtec workhorse can also help you prepare dough, chop spices, etc. so you never run out of uses for your new favorite appliance.
So, what did I make with it?
Even that Banana, Blueberry and Strawberry Smoothie from Tuesday!
This gem replaced several of the appliances I have had cluttering up my counter! Goodbye juicer, blender, ice cream maker, smoothie maker and, I might ditch a food processor too!
